Coveralls

A coverall is the one garment that does everything. It keeps the dirt off, the cold out and — if it is the right one — the fire away from skin. Which one you need depends less on the brand stitched on the chest than on the hazard you are dressing for. We have been stitching in Edmonton since 1989, and cutting and sewing the coveralls ourselves since the early 2000s.

Choosing between FR and non-FR. If your work involves flash fire, arc flash or any ignition source — oil and gas, electrical utilities, petrochemical — you need flame resistance, and your site will usually specify a minimum arc rating before you get to choose anything else. Our FR range runs from the 6.0oz Nomex® IIIA at ATPV 12.7 cal/cm² through FR-treated cotton in heavier weights. If the hazards are abrasion, dirt and wear rather than fire, a cotton or poly/cotton coverall costs considerably less and wears just as hard.

Fabric weight matters more than most buyers expect. Lighter fabric breathes, which you will care about in July. Heavier fabric holds its shape through industrial laundering and takes longer to wear through at the knee, which you will care about in January. Crews working year-round often run two weights rather than making one garment do both jobs badly.

Every coverall here can carry your logo, stitched in the same building it was sewn in. Regular and tall lengths are stocked; short and extra-tall are made to order. Tell us the crew size and we will price it.
