A logo is a small thing until it's on you every day. We digitize it and stitch it ourselves, onto the FR and safety workwear we cut and sew in this building, or onto name-brand blanks like Stormtech, Gildan, Russell Athletic and YP Flexfit if your job calls for a polo, a hoodie or a cap instead. Either way, the same hands see it through.
Two ways we put your logo on something
Both happen under one roof. The difference is who made the garment first.
Our own line
FR coveralls, insulated parkas, hi-vis vests, we've had a hand in it since before the logo went on: cutting the pattern, sewing the seams, building in the reinforced knee or the chest pocket, then digitizing and stitching your branding into it. That's the rarer setup in this industry. Most embroidery shops are decorating garments they didn't make.
Name-brand blanks
A Stormtech softshell, a Gildan tee, a Russell Athletic hoodie, a YP Flexfit cap, we're doing exactly what other decorators do, just without farming out the digitizing. The person converting your logo into a stitch file and the person running the embroidery machine work in the same room.

Approximately 10 business days standard. We'll do our best to accommodate rush requests.
No minimum order — artwork setup charges may apply on smaller runs.
Which patch backing is right for you?
Patches more broadly come in a few different builds across the industry. Embroidered, woven, PVC, chenille, each suited to different use. Embroidered is the most versatile and cost-effective for logos and text; woven holds finer detail and small type better than embroidery can; PVC shrugs off rain, mud and rough outdoor use; chenille is the thick, fuzzy build you'd recognise from a varsity jacket. What we build in-house at Northland is embroidered patches and appliqué — if your project calls for something outside that, ask us and we'll tell you straight rather than guess.
Frequently asked questions
What file format do you need for my logo?
Vector formats — AI, EPS or SVG — give the cleanest result because they scale to any size without losing detail. A high-resolution PNG, JPG or PDF (300 DPI or better) works too. If your only version is a low-res logo off your website, tell us — we can often recreate it, but it may need a quick redraw before it's ready to digitize.
Do you charge extra for digitizing?
Digitizing is waived on repeat orders or orders of 12 or more pieces. Smaller first-time orders may carry an artwork setup charge.
What's your turnaround time?
Approximately 10 business days for standard orders. We'll do our best to accommodate rush requests — ask when you place your order.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimums — artwork setup charges may apply depending on order size.
How much does embroidery or a patch cost?
Standard left-chest logos and patches start at $5. Volume pricing is available as your order grows — contact us for a quote tailored to your job.
Can you match our exact brand colours?
Yes — we match thread to your actual brand colours rather than the nearest stock option, so your logo looks the same on a coverall as it does on your letterhead.
Do I need my own garments, or can you supply them?
We carry name-brand blanks — Stormtech, Gildan, Russell Athletic, YP Flexfit and more through our supplier network — for polos, hoodies, jackets and caps, so most customers don't need to source anything themselves. We also accept customer-supplied garments for embroidery if you'd rather bring your own.
Can I get a few patches, or does it need to be a bulk order?
No floor — small runs are fine. Volume pricing is available as your order grows; contact us for details.
Do you do corporate uniform programs?
Yes — bulk uniform supply and branding for corporate and industrial accounts, with NET 30 terms available for approved accounts. See our wholesale page for corporate ordering.
