Our Story
In 1989, founders Huy and Nga Huynh invested their savings and secured a loan to open a small embroidery shop on Edmonton’s east side—Northland Embroidery and Crest. Their passion and work ethic quickly grew the business to include screen printing, heat-press imprinting, cresting, appliqué, and artwork digitization. By 2003, as Alberta’s energy sector surged, they took on another challenge: vertically integrating and manufacturing protective garments, becoming what Northland is today—a one-stop shop for high-quality, protective workwear.
